Medical Assistant Program
EDCOE is partnered with Marshal Medical Center to provide a Medical Assistant program that will prepare students with sufficient theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills to qualify for an entry-level position as a medical assistant in a hospital, clinic, or physician’s office. Upon satisfactory program completion, students are awarded a certificate. The graduate will also be qualified to take the CMA exam for state certification.
The program is designed to run from January – May, four days a week, Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
There is also a prerequisite Medical Terminology course to be completed between October to December.
